About

Welcome welcome, come, sit down, make yourself comfy.

Let me see if I can satisfy your curiosity… who is Alison Saunders?

First things first, I promise, this is the only time it will be “all about me”.  But with that said… here’s what you need to know.

I’ve “done” customer service all my life (let’s not talk numbers, suffice to say George Michael’s passing was truly devastating to me #firstcrush).

I’ve been the frontline agent, the operations manager, the business facilitator, the trainer, the policy developer.  I climbed the corporate ladder, played the game, followed the rules.

But then about 3 years ago I saw another way, a different path.  And after 2 years of planning, I took the leap.

Now don’t get me wrong, I’m grateful for all the amazing experiences, lessons and most importantly the wonderful human beings I worked with throughout.  But now, I get to put all my experience, my skills and my passion into creating something that ADDS VALUE to others – and I get to do it with every single client!

Yeah, best job ever.  And I’m really good at it.

Big-headed much?

I realise that may sound egotistical but this is my sales pitch, so I’m hoping you’ll forgive me.  Simply put, my corporate background means I have all your bases covered.

I am great at the creative process, experienced at being the person in charge of the room, I’m a practiced public speaker.  I understand the importance of “attention to detail” (useful for legal processes I find LOL!).  And I know how to walk the wonderful line between “this is a serious thing we are doing” and “woohoo, we’re getting married, let’s party”.

Yes, you can have both 😉

My process is entirely collaborative, your ceremony is built as I get to know you.  My job is to marry you.  In the way you want (within the limits of the law).  And to make sure everyone you invite to witness your ceremony hears and understands.  I make it legal and with your help, I make it yours.

As I mentioned on my home page, I LOVE to travel – and will happily do so for your ceremony.  For transparency’s sake, there may be a fee for my travel if it’s a big distance (see my Packages).

  • So if you want to celebrate in Melbourne, Daylesford, Geelong, Mornington or up where it gets snowy in winter, I’m there.
  • A trip to Port Douglas, sure.
  • A ceremony on a sandbar in Broome, hell yeah.
  • Hawaii… don’t tease me 😉

The upshot of all this is that, as I said before, I’m really good at my job. But don’t take my word for it – see my Happy Couples.
